Natural Cleaning Spray Made Easy

We are exposed to a lot of toxins in this modern world of ours and ironically cleaning supplies are among the most toxic. Laden with fragrances, sodium laureth sulfate, bleach, and other harsh chemicals; using these products can be hazardous to your health.

Sadly most products that claim to be all natural are just green washed and aren’t much better than main stream products.

Earthley Wellness is one of the few companies I’ve come across who actually makes toxic free cleaning products that are actually safe and effective. While I do love their All Purpose Cleaning Spray, which I do use from time to time, but it’s so easy and cheap to make my own natural cleaning spray, that I almost always just do that. I highly recommend their other cleaning products though, they work amazing and are truly safe and natural. The grape fruit scent is amazing!

What You’ll Need

Let’s dive into this recipe. Here’s everything you’ll need.

  • 12oz Glass spray bottle
  • Water
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Natural dish soap. I get mine here.
  • Essential oils of choice. I get mine here.

Directions

This recipe is extremely easy and will take you less than 5 minutes!

  1. Fill your glass spray bottle with 9oz of water and 2oz of hydrogen peroxide. ( I mark the outside of my bottle at 2oz and pour the hydrogen peroxide in first. Then I just add the water leaving a little room at the top.
  2. Add a drop of dish soap. If using a bar like I do, just scrape off a pea sized piece and drop it in the bottle.
  3. Add the essential oils of your choice put the nozzle on, and shake it up. I love to use lemon and lavender. Use this dilution chart for proper dilution. Since we have children we use a lower dilution.

That’s it! In less than 5 minutes you have an all natural cleaning spray that can be used to clean just about everything. We use it for the kitchen, the bathroom, the floors, and everything in between. It can also help sanitize high touch surfaces to help keep germs at bay.
